MD Now Urgent Care to Open 3 New Florida Locations in 2016

Rapid Growth Will Let MD Now Reach Residents in 25 Locations Across Florida

MD Now, the leading and fastest-growing urgent care provider in Florida, is planning to open three new locations throughout Florida in early 2016. The new urgent care centers will be located in Hallandale Beach in Broward County, as well as in Kendall and on Bird Road in Miami-Dade County. These new locations will bring the highest-quality medical care to many underserved communities in the region, while bringing MD Now to a total of 25 sites throughout Florida. MD Now’s rapid growth is fueled by its mission to provide all Florida residents with access to convenient, comprehensive, and affordable medical care.

The three new urgent care centers will bring MD Now to a total of 25 locations throughout Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties. MD Now plans to continue this rate of expansion and grow to well over 30 centers in the near future.

The new locations in Kendall and on Bird Road will be the fifth and sixth locations in Miami-Dade County, while the Hallandale Beach center will be the tenth in Broward. These sites were selected because they are conveniently located in very highly populated communities that are in urgent need of urgent care. Their heavy populations result in extensive and expensive waits in overcrowded emergency rooms. And combining the growing number of residents with the diminishing number of primary physician leads to weeks of waiting for doctor’s appointments. These communities are severely underserved and are in need of easy access to high-quality, affordable care.

The three new urgent care locations will offer convenient access to the comprehensive range of services available at all MD Now locations:

  • Urgent care
  • Comprehensive medical & healthcare services
  • Digital x-rays
  • On-site lab testing
  • Digital x-ray and EKG services
  • And more

Most patients are treated and released within 60 minutes or less, making MD Now Urgent Care centers the place to go for immediate access to healthcare when time matters most. This quick and efficient treatment, a hallmark of MD Now Urgent Care centers, extends to all patients.
