I stepped on a nail and was concerned about infection. I went to MD Now with low expectations, thinking that a top doctor would not be attracted to an urgent care facility. So much for assumptions. The doctor was extremely competent and knowledgeable. He recommended a tetanus shot and a week of antibiotics. He also shared a tip if this happens again: squeeze the blood out to force out any particles on the nail. My foot feels much better. If I have another emergency, I will definitely return. I would add that the facility is recently constructed and very nice.
